Deluxe Izembeck lodge
This trip runs 7 days Sun-Sun and are all-inclusive with pickup from the airport in Cold bay to include all meals, lodging and fully guided hunting & fishing daily. Here we will meet our guest's and transport them to our new Waterfront Cedar lodge where all the adventures start. Hunters should purchase their hunting license and federal & state duck stamps through the mail ahead of time, as services are very limited in these remote locations.

Blast and CastThe cedar lodge overlooks the bay and the magnificent 6000ft Pavlof Volcano. On your arrival day we will go out for a few hours late that afternoon and tour the hunting area if the tides permit, if not we have some great local Char & Silver fishing in near bye Russell Creek till dinner.

After a fabulous family style dinner we will have a lodge meeting and you will meet the entire lodge staff and guides, and go over the weeks itinerary. Most of our waterfowl hunting takes place inside of Izembeck Wildlife Refuge and all our water sets on Izembeck Lagoon that flows directly into the Bering Sea.

Wakeup is at 7am and breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:00am in the lodge dining room and will include a family style all you can eat buffet with hot entrees during the week to include Eggs, French toast, Omelets and blueberry pancakes with fresh fruit and or cold cereal daily complete with coffee, hot cocoa or juice. We usually leave the lodge between 8:15-8:30 and on our way to a full day of waterfowl and wing shooting. All of the peak waterfowl hunting takes place during a 5-hour period during high tide, as this is when the birds move daily from the lagoon to the fresh water drinking ponds and berry fields.

Ptarmigan HuntingThe rest of the day we can hunt ptarmigan or go fishing on the local streams. Daily lunches are packed at the lodge and we usually eat out streamside or in the blinds. We will head back to the lodge around 6pm and get cleaned up and ready for dinner as the guides clean and process your days trophies.

Dinner is served around 7pm unless we hunt late due to the tides or weather. These consist of main entrees of fresh Grilled Salmon or Halibut steaks, Seafood fettuccini, lemon-peppered chicken, Veal Parmesan, Roasted Pork and Grilled Sirloin Steaks smothered in mushrooms and onions. Each dinner is complimented with a desert and Beverage of choice to include Coffee, Juice, Water or Tea, as alcoholic beverages are BYO due to liquor licensing rules.

After dinner you can relax with a cocktail or get your gear ready for another unbelievable day of Shooting or fishing whatever is your choice as this trip is all-inclusive with unlimited Waterfowl hunting, Ptarmigan hunting and Fishing for Silver Salmon and Arctic Char.

Alaskan Rainbow - Bering SeaThe following Sunday morning will conclude your trip with a thank you from all of the staff and gratuities being paid directly to the staff of 8-10%. The guides will prepare your trophies for the trip home and pack them in fish boxes, or coolers that you brought from home. Then we will take your luggage to the airport to get it checked in for the charter trip back to Anchorage or King Salmon that will leave around 1-2pm.

Each guest is responsible for all flights from there home to Cold bay; all charters will originate in Anchorage and are booked directly through us. These charter cost can range from $500-$725pp depending on the total number on the flight to Cold bay as the group splits the cost evenly.

The waterfowl population in Izembeck lagoon has been increasing at a very healthy rate as this is part of the Major Pacific Flyway. The current populations of geese are near 120-140 thousand Canadians.
